The JV tennis team hosted the Lady Buccaneers of Grand Haven at the Kennel last night in March-like conditions of 80 degrees and sunshine.  Our racketeers defeated the Bucs in hand to hand combat by a score of 8 to 2 and set them adrift in rafts to make their way home.  Our record is now

Varsity Water Polo Suffers Tough Loss

The varsity girls water polo team had an exciting game with Kentwood losing by a score of 12 – 16. Alyssa Wysocki had 7 saves in the goal. Scoring for Grandville were: Katie Skinner 7 goals, Kara VanderKallen 2 goals, Stephanie Spruit 1 goal, Lauren Wynalda 1 goal, and Alie Kalsbeek 1 goal.

The Varsity Baseball Team was defeated by the Jenison Wildcats 5-1.  Senior Tyler Valicevic pitched well enough to win, but some defensive lapses, base running miscues, and lack of timely hitting contributed to the loss.  Valley threw a six-hit complete game as he picked up the loss striking out three and walking two.  Offensively, Tim

JV Baseball Suffers Tough Loss

The Junior Varsity Baseball Team was defeated by the Jenison Wildcats 10-0. The Dawgs played extremely sloppy defensive and left a ton of runners on base to contribute to the lopsided loss.  The Dawgs look to salvage a split with the Wildcats.

Freshman Baseball Wins 5-1

The Freshman Baseball team defeated Jenison 5-1 behind a strong pitching effort from Anthony VanDam.  Anthony pitched the first seven-inning complete game for the Bulldogs, striking out six and walking just one while allowing only three hits and one unearned run.  A nice double-play from Mitch Kobayashi to Danil Young to Brandon Hass ended the

The Varsity Softball Team split with Rockford last night in a very exciting double header.  The first game went 10 innings with Kaley Waalkes pitching the distance, striking out 13 and giving up 7 singles.  Rockford scored the only run of the game in the top of the 10th.  Waalkes, Renay Palmer, and Rachel Nelson

Freshman Softball Sweeps Rockford

The Freshman Softball team won both games of their double header against Rockford.  They won the first game 13-6.  The girls set the tone early with 3 runs in the first inning.  Savannah Smith led with a Tripple, Double, 2 singles and 2 RBI.  6 other girls recorded at least 1 RBI with Kaci Parker bringing home
