Freshmen Soccer Shutouts Hudsonville

Varsity Softball Takes 2nd Place at Wayland Invite

The Varsity Softball Team came in 2nd place at the 8 team Wayland Invitational on Saturday.  In the first game, the Bulldogs beat Lakeland 12-3 behind solid pitching by Lauren Weldy.  Weldy also led the offense with a triple, double and 2 singles for 5 RBI’s.  Other top hitters were Lauren Groendyk, and Jazmin Garza.

Freshman Softball Wins Rockford Tourney

The Freshman girls softball team won the Rockford tournament this weekend!  The girls beat Jenison 15-0 in the first game behind strong pitching from Amber Flaherty and solid defense all the way around.  In the second game the girls took on East Kentwood beating them 18-2 with Kacie Gruszka getting the win on the mound. 

Junior Varsity Baseball Lost in Dramatic Fashion

The Junior Varsity Baseball Team lost in dramatic fashion yesterday to Jenison, 6-5. The Dawgs were down 6-1 after 2, but chipped away to score 4 while holding the Wildcats scoreless over the last 5 innings.  The bulldogs loaded the bases in the bottom of the seventh but a great defensive play for the final out sealed their win.  The JV Bulldogs
