Junior Varsity Baseball Team Fell a Second Time This Week to Hudsonville

The Junior Varsity Baseball Team fell a second time this week to Hudsonville, losing last night, 4-2.  Brendan Kelly pitched well in throwing a complete game but the bulldog bats remained relatively quiet and run support was at a minimum.  The Dawgs look to bounce back as they take on Portage Central tomorrow at home in a doubleheader starting at 10 am.

Freshman Baseball Team Won Their First Tight Contest of the Season

The Freshman Baseball team won their first tight contest of the season, holding off Hudsonville 5-4.  The Dawgs jumped out early with three runs in the first two innings, both times getting started after making two outs. They added a fourth run in the fourth and a fifth (which ended up being the decisive run)

Men’s Track and Field

The men’s track and field team turned in more dominating performances in their meet against Grand Haven yesterday.  Connor Hanson destroyed the competition with his ability to throw large heavy objects long distances while Alex MeJia flung his body 12 feet in the air and Alex Crisan jumped nearly 19 feet for first place.  Cass Millenback

Varsity Softball Team Split Their First Conference Double Header

The Varsity Softball Team split their first conference double header last night against Hudsonville.  The girls won the first game 5-3 behind strong pitching from Kaley Waalkes and an aggressive offensive attack.  Lauren Groendyk had a triple while Renay Palmer had a double.  Other hitters included Ann Hardin, Nikki Yalacki, Jazmin Garza, and Lauren Weldy. 

Grandville Football Scholarship

Attention football players:  The Grandville Football boosters would like to offer you a scholarship to attend a summer football camp at any college or university in the country.  If you are interested in playing football at the next level and you plan to attend a college summer camp, the boosters may have a scholarship for you. 

Grandville 3 vs. Zeeland 13

The varsity water polo team lost to the 5th ranked Zeeland team by a score of 3 – 13.  Alyssa Wysocki had another good night with 11 saves in the goal.  Scoring for Grandville were  Kara VanderKallen 2, and Caitlyn Ritter 1.

JV Water Polo Team Defeated Zeeland

The JV Water Polo team defeated Zeeland by a score of 10 – 8. Kim Jaglowski had a great night in the goal for the Dawgs, she had 12 saves. Scoring for Grandville were: Allie Kalsbeek 5, Sydney Steele 2, Kelly Dietrich 2, and Sara Dietrich 1.  The JV team is now 8 wins and

Freshman Softball Team Wins Both in Double Header

The Freshman Softball team won both games in their double header Thursday night against Hudsonville.  The first game was a close one with the Dawgs pulling out a 3-2 victory.   The second game was a little more comfortable with a 12-6 win.  Batting totals for the double header: Everyplayer recorded at least one hit on the day

JV Tennis Improves Record Once Again

The JV Tennis team hosted a very small Calvin Christian team yesterday in The Kennel.  In the end, the Ladies of G-Town were once again victorious by a score of 3 to 2.  The team now has 4 wins, 0 losses and 1 tie as they travel via boat today to Byron Center. Winning teams
