Tennis Regional Tourney

The Tennis Team wrapped up their season at Jenison High School where they participated in the Regionals. It was a spectacular day to play tennis and the girls played well finishing 4th and just out of the hunt to qualify for the state tournament. Junior Varsity Baseball Defeated Big Reds

The Junior Varsity Baseball defeated Muskegon yesterday, 21-0 via mercy rule.  Zach Hekman got the win on the mound and Austin Schuur threw well in relief.  Both pitchers got plenty of run support as the bulldogs amassed 17 hits.  The JV record now stands at 14 and 7 overall and 8 and 4 in the conference.  They are off until Monday

Varsity Baseball Scattered 17 Hits vs. Muskegon

The Varsity Baseball Team beat Muskegon 21-0 in a five inning game yesterday.  Cody Meyer went the first four innings giving up one hit, striking out 10 and walking one to pick up his first win of the season and even his record at 1-1.  Andrew Vavere came on and pitched a scoreless last inning. 

Junior Varsity Baseball Defeated Solid Lakers Squad

The Junior Varsity Baseball Team defeated a solid Spring Lake squad yesterday, 15-5.  It was a quality win for the dawgs as the Lakers were 20 and 4 coming in to the contest.    Brendan Kelly pitched well in the win and Jake Garbarino led the hitters with 3 hits.  Thursday the Dawgs play Muskegon at home.

Varsity Baseball Defeated Spring Lake 10-2

The Varsity Baseball Team defeated Spring Lake 10-2  behind the 3-hit pitching of Tyler Valicevic.  Tyler struck out six, walked two in picking up his 4th win against three losses.  Tyler along with Troy Merriman also led the offense with two hits each.  They both had a single and a double.  Thursday the Dawgs travel

Cheerleading Tryouts

Fall Cheerleaders, on Wednesday and Thursday next week there will be open gyms for all girls trying out for fall cheerleading.  PrairieView will be available from 3:15-6:00.   Tryouts will be held Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday May 29,30,31 from 3:15-6:00 at PrairieView.

Dance Team Tryouts

Grandville High School Dance team tryouts for 2012-2013 school year will be held at the High School in the East Gym from 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. on May 22, 23 and 24th.  Report to the East gym on Tuesday May 22 at 3:00 p.m.

Freshmen Soccer Keeps The Theme Going

The Grandville Freshmen Girls soccer team beat Rockford last night 4-0.  Grandville dominated the game both on offense and on defense.  Grandville started the scoring 29 seconds into the game with Jenna Wissink beating the Rockford defender with a dribble, and then drilling the ball into the back of the net.  Rachel Harley scored the second goal
