Game Recap

After a 3 hour break between games and a dip in the temp down to 37 degrees, the Bulldogs were slow to get things rolling in the second game. Several bad passes while attempting to get the ball out wide would have had Vela touching down 3 times, however they had to settle for only 10 points on single try’s by Makiala Vela and Corryn Bush in the first half. After regrouping and getting an earful from both coach’s Law and Vanover, captains Adilene Ocha and Matja Sarrenhemio-Vanderhorst took control of the game. Big tackles by Ochoa defensively led to try’s by Olivia Bowen and Vanderhorst. Vanderhorst seemly willed her way into the try zone, breaking multiple tackles for her second try of the game. Angelina Pollice rounded out the scoring with a final score for a 34-0 victory. The Bulldogs are now 8-0 on the season. Outscoring their opponents 537-26.
In State unbeaten streak (over past 4 years) now sitting at 37 in a row 🙂
