The Grandville Men’s Cross Country Team finished 5th at Regionals on Saturday in Portage. Leading the way with a 6th place finish was junior Matt Smith who ran a time of 16:43. With Matt’s finish he qualified to run next Saturday at the State Meet. Junior Shayden Fisher finished in 17th place and ran his personal best of 17:03. He missed qualifying for state by three seconds. Junior Jake Randall ran his best race of the season finishing in 35th place and running a personal best of 17:29. Junior Kellen Rau ran a season best of 17:33 as he finished in 38th place. Senior Mitch Parsons came in 52nd place with a time of 17:54 and ending a very solid career in the Bulldog cross country program. Rounding out the top seven were sophomore Shawn Roncka and sophomore Sam Cornett as Shawn finished in 56th and Sam in 72nd place.
